Youth sports fields require more than basic durability. Young athletes are still developing physically, and their training environments must support movement, reduce impact stress, limit abrasion risk, and maintain a clean, healthy surface for daily use. Traditional hard surfaces often lack cushioning, while conventional infill turf may create concerns related to loose particles, dust, odor, and long-term maintenance.
Vivaturf non-infill turf is engineered to address these youth-sport requirements through a structured, infill-free system that combines support, cushioning, traction, durability, and environmental safety.
Three-Layer Protection Designed for Youth Sports
Vivaturf uses a coordinated structure of hybrid fibers, shock-absorbing backing, and an infill-free clean surface.
The upper layer adopts a 7:3 straight-and-curled fiber matrix. Around 70% high-modulus straight fibers provide stable support for running, jumping, and push-off movements, helping prevent the “sinking” feeling that can affect athletic performance. The remaining 30% high-resilience curled fibers add cushioning and softness, helping reduce skin abrasion and impact discomfort during falls or landings.
Below the turf layer, a closed-cell PE shockpad helps distribute impact forces over a wider area. This structure supports joint protection for knees, ankles, and lower limbs, especially during repeated jumping, sprinting, and directional changes.
Because the system is non-infill, there are no loose rubber granules or silica sand. This helps avoid particle ingestion risks, dust inhalation concerns, particle migration, and odor build-up, making it especially suitable for schools, academies, youth training centers, and indoor youth sports spaces.
