Carpinteria Valley Water District is offering $500 for a single-family home

The Coachella Valley Water District is offering residential owners $3.00 per square foot for a maximum of $30,000 for new landscape conversion projects. Additional landscape rebates are available for each program year, providing other incentives for up to a maximum of 10,000 square feet. Do not begin your project before receiving pre-approval from the Coachella Valley Water District. Residents must also have a green or golden-brown lawn to qualify for this conversion rebate. Any exposed dirt areas without remnants of grass will not be counted towards the rebate offer. Applicants must also have a preexisting irrigation system and are required to complete and sign an IRS Form W-9. A California lawn rebate 2022, is worth investing in.

The City of Buellton is offering $1.00 per square foot for a maximum rebate amount of $750 for residential Homeowners. Applicants must be current water customers that are in good standing. Low water use landscapes or dead grass areas are not eligible for the rebate.

City of San Bernardino
The city of San Bernadino is offering $2 per square foot for a maximum of $400 to replace irrigated grass with artificial grass. Residents must first submit their application with supporting documentation. Documentation includes photos of the project area and a receipt showing the project’s cost per square foot, separate from any labor and installation fees. After receiving pre-approval, residents may begin their conversion process. Be sure to reach out to the city if any changes to the originally planned materials change.
